Aren’t they the same thing? They are both from God.
True, they are both from God, but they aren’t quit the same thing.
Natural strengths are from your personality, experiences, genetics. This is the “how” of carrying out a task. Spiritual gifts are abilities that God has given specifically to you. This is the “what”, what tasks God assigns you.
Your natural strengths and your spiritual gifts put together are what make you unique.
"There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit distributes them. There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord. There are different kinds of working, but in all of them and in everyone it is the same God at work." (1 Corinthians 12:4-6, NIV)
A spiritual gift is something God specifically chooses to bless you with to do His work and further His Kingdom here on earth.
